Where and When we Meet

Every meeting of the Optimist Club is fun as well as productive. You will never meet a better group of civic minded and enthusiastic people. After a meeting, you can't help but be positive, optimistic, and ready for the next challenge!

• If you need a boost to your week, you need to join the Optimist Club and come to our Friday meetings. As one speaker said, "If I could just bottle up the enthusiasm and energy in this room and sell it, I'd be rich!"

  Every Friday we meet at 7:00 am for breakfast, fellowship and to learn about the community through guest speakers that cover a wide variety of interesting topics. A few of the speakers we have recently hosted are: Cobb County Commission Chairman, Sam Olens; Stan Reeves, representing Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes; Georgia Congressman, Phil Gingrey; and the director of the Cobb County SafePath Children's Advocacy Center.
